Meet Recap

Cesar Arellano led Dublin Scioto to a 12th place finish at the Midwest Meet of Champions by posting a new school record time of 15:15. All Scioto varsity and junior varsity runners posted new personal records. In the varsity race, Senior Tyler Mielke broke the 16 minute barrier posting a time of 15:56 (19th place). Additional varsity runner times included Sophmore Sam Thomas (33rd place, 16:20), Senior Brian Briones (102nd place, 17:07), Senior Joel David (123rd place, 17:22), Freshman Ali Latif (160th place, 17:57) and Sophmore Antonio Loor (163rd place, 17:59).

In the open race, Senior Mitchell Thomas led all Scioto runners with a time of 18:14. Other open race runner times included Jose Nieves-Diaz (18:56), Tyler Willman (18:58), Brayden Davis (19:11), Evan Hall (19:20, Jackson Raabe (19:46), Dylan Walsh (19:47), Devlin Murphy (20:21) and Hubert Abfalter (22:05).
